Obituary of Peter F. Ciborowski, Sr.

Peter Fredrick Ciborowski, 1929-2020, passed away on October 28 at the age of 91. He was predeceased by his father, John, his mother, Margaret, his loving wife Mildred and his eight brothers and sisters. He is survived by his three children, Cheryl, Patricia, and Peter Jr., his six grandchildren and four great grandchildren and sister Natalie. He was born in Syracuse and graduated from Blodgett Vocational High School. He served in the US Army, 7th Division in Korean Conflict in 1950-1951 in Battery B of the 15th AAA Automatic Weapons Battalion, earning the Korea War Medal with four stars. He worked at RCA Service Company from 1969-1989 as a television service technician, retiring to establish his own business, P&M TV. He loved his NY Yankees and was an avid golfer, swimmer, and gardener, as well as a history and astronomy buff. He was a communicant of St. Daniel’s Catholic Church. He was a quiet man but believed deeply in the things he held dear—country, family, being a good person and living a good life. He always will be in our loving memory. Funeral services will be private.
