Dear Patti and extended family,
I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Some people think that if a person lives to old age, the loss is easier to handle - - not true! We have had more years to love and appreciate these fine men. We have seen them endure so many things in their lives, it would be impossible for that bond not to be strong. And for the love not to be even stronger as we grow and age.
I wanted you to know that you are in my prayers. I understand how difficult things are, as I lost my own Dad just a few weeks into this time of quarantine and the isolation it has brought to us. I will pray for your father's soul, and for your spiritual consolation as well. Meanwhile, stay safe and well and remember that this wonderful man lives on in all the good things he taught you.
