Jeff Hale touched my heart the moment I met him. His visits to the L'Arche office were the highlight of my day as I knew we would have a dance together or a dance off and in the rare moment he didn't want music on we would get in an episode of Star Trek or Gilligans Island. Jeff always brought a smile to my face, he is deeply missed and will always be loved.
I am so thankful to have known my Uncle Jeff. He was always so loving to us and I have many great memories of his visits throughout the years. I know that he was very proud of his family and we loved him very much. I am so very thankful to the L'Arche community and to all of those who cared for and supported Jeff. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I have a lot of fond memories of my Uncle Jeff especially from my younger years. He introduced me to Batman and Star Trek. I am still a big fan. He used to serenade us with Elvis; he knew every song. He was a fun Uncle with a great sense of humor and sometimes devious nature. I always remember how excited he was to see us when we visited him. I know he loved us and we loved him. We will miss him greatly but I know he is in a better place surrounded by ones he loves.
