My sincere condolences on the passing of Al. I worked with him at SIF from 1979-1981 when he retired. He was a lovely gentlemen and I have fond memories of him. Years later we ran into each other and found out that my daughter Colleen and his granddaughter Lauryn were on the same softball team. Prayers and thoughts to the DePaul family.
I offer my sincere condolences to your family. I have been a neighbor of Al and Genevieve for many years. Al always had something encouraging to say about my running and loved to chat when I would pass by his house. He would keep me posted as to the whereabouts of my socialite cat when I would go looking for him down the street! Al was a terrific person and neighbor and will be greatly missed.
