Obituary of Rosemary Ziegler

Rosemary Fehr Ziegler, 88, died on Friday at her home surrounded by her loving family. She had been a member of Blessed Sacrament Church her whole life and a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Mrs. Ziegler had volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital for over 30 years; was an avid bowler; and enjoyed walking throughout Eastwood with her dog. Her summers were spent enjoying time with her family at her camp in Sandy Pond. She is pre-deceased by her husband Clarence; her brother Frank Fehr II; and sisters: Helen Stapleton and Janet Dwyer.
She is survived by her son C. James (Deb) Ziegler of Syracuse; daughters: Mary K. (Jerry) Ireton, Jean E. (Mark) Wickes, Sandra A. (Earl) Wickes all of Syracuse, Janet L. (Mike) Wilson of Canandaigua ; a sister Kathryn Seelye of Coral Springs, FL; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8pm in Blessed Sacrament Church. The funeral mass will be Tuesday at 9am in the church with interment to follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Church Outreach Program or to the Humane Society.
