We were so sad to hear of Ms. Z's passing. We are her former next-door neighbors. We took turns feeding the birds, and I would occasionally toss Bella a treat when leaving the house. We visited with her a number of times and were always amazed at her energy - especially shoveling snow by hand. She would scold me when I tried to help - then bring us cookies, pretzels and dip, or some other treat. Somehow we missed the obituary and I apologize for this late entry. We will miss her immensely.

Pleas know you are in our thoughts and prayers

Terry, three year old Sara, and I stayed overnight with Aunt Rosemary when we were in the process of moving to Syracuse from Pennsylvania. She was a gracious host. I was so impressed with all her home-made cooking. I was also impressed that she had five children! It was fun sharing conversation and faith with her. It was so nice to have her to welcome us to the Syracuse area.
Mary Kay, Jean, Sandy, Janet, and Jim: My sympathy and prayers to your family.

To Mary Kay, Jean, Sandy, Jim and Janet. My sympathies on the death of your Mom. She was a wonderful lady who taught me so much when I was growing up. She always had a smile for me when I visited her on Glencove Rd many years later. I spent a lot of time at your house and baby sat all of you practically from the time you were born. Wonderful memories from your old babysitter, Dottie Porter Gooby

My condolences to the Ziegler family. I shared many a cup of coffee and conversation with Rosemary being her next door neighbor at Sandy Pond. They were Both great neighbors and Duke. I've thought of her often after I left as I have lost many good friends from our camp. Lucky I had a video camera so I could look back at the memories. I will always miss them dearly as those were Great Times and I was Blessed with Great Friends and their Families. I hope there's a Sandy Pond in Heaven.....May she and all my deceased friends REST in PEACE...............Tom

Aunt Rosemary – My fond memories of you and your love, caring, and ability to make things fun go back to when you babysat for me when I was 4 years old, and continue to the present. You were there for my first date with Carolyn, and our children called you “the other grandma.” You led your family in daily prayer when I was in Vietnam and at other times when family members faced challenges. You are a remarkable woman who leaves behind a strong legacy and a wonderful family.
Love Johnny

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to all of you at this sad time. I was praying that the Lord would wait until May to bring your mom to heaven and rest her in His mother's arms in this special month of Mary. She has been my saving grace because I knew she understood that being a mother is not very easy! God bless and know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
