God bless Uncle Charlie. I am so sorry that I just found out the news that he has gone home to Our Lord. He was always a kind, considerate, and sweet man; so gentle and so quiet. He was married to my Aunt Eleanor Ryan and he was a part of all our Ryan childhood memories along with our cousin "Jody" Ryan his son. My mother Peg Ryan and he always exchanged greetings and comments about the retired postal workers group. He celebrated Mom's 85th birthday with all of us. Uncle Charlie and my dad Bill Ryan worked together for many years at the USPS. My mother is especially sorry she did not get to share her condolences with his family. At age 96 she and Uncle Charlie are part of the "Great Generation" who survived many adversities but kept their faith in God and country at all times. Please accept our condolences and we will remember Uncle Charlie, Jody, and Aunt Eleanor in our prayers. We know they are reunited in heaven and have received Christ's peace.
