My friendship with Roy began with two words while we waited in line, "Nice hat". We both wore Kangol caps. The conversations that followed over the years led to one of the greatest friendships I will ever have. We shared similar stories of childhood and grammar school; shared a lifelong love of people, nature, music and the mysteries of life. We shared curiosity, wonder and a sense of humor. The more we talked the more we saw how like brothers we were. I cannot take this passing as a loss because I have always felt him in the things I do and will always have him with me. To Anthony and Jeff who he was so proud of, so close to, I continue my prayers and support. Roy, for all the good you did in this world, I love you, brother.

Dear Anthony and Jeff and Fanily. I am so sorry to hear of your fathers passing. He has been a very dear and close friend of mine for many years. We have had so many good times together and so many laughs . We worked at Natioal Grid together for over 35 years When we retired we met for lunch and kept in touch over the phone weekly. I will miss my best friend. Rest in peace my friend.
