Dorothy has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. I knew her when she was a Maurader Mom and giving her kindness and caring to me and my fellow members. At one time I was with American Legion Post 1276 and was able to enjoy an adult relationship with her. In later, more recent years, I would see her at church, or at the senior monthly luncheon at the Baptist church. She had such a wonderful happy spirit that was so uplifting. A very fiesty lady for her age. And great sense of humor. Dorothy had a great love for her family and would enjoy sharing news about them. Truely she will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Dorothy and Ed were like my best Aunt and Uncle. They supported me and my siblings in many school projects growing up. She will be greatly missed. I loved her.
