Lillian Fischer, of Liverpool, passed away on March 3, 2024.  Born in Forestville, NY on November 13, 1929, Lillian was the fourth of five children by Joseph and Laura Falcone. Her husband of 65 years, Joe Fischer, passed away in July 2020.  
Lillian obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Alfred University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Vassar College. She began teaching in the 60’s and spent the majority of her time teaching 7-8th grade English in the Baldwinsville and North Syracuse districts.. 
She was an avid reader and an active member of the Syracuse running community. She was a regular at the YMCA and enjoyed traveling with her husband Joe in their retirement. Lillian also volunteered at the Onondaga Public Library and the Plymouth Congregational Church where she was a long-time member. 
Lillian is survived by her three children, Curt (and Joyce Davis) Fischer, Dwight (and Alison) Fischer and Kim (and Sami) Awadallah, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Contributions are welcome to the Plymouth Congregational Church, the Liverpool Public Library and the North Area YMCA in Liverpool.
A private service will be held for the family.
