Your mom was my good friend for many years. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. We taught together in B'ville and she introduced me to hiking. There were many trails in the Adirondacks that we walked together, stopping to have a lunch she had prepared which always included a glass of milk : ) Her roots ran deep in her family's farm. She was a devoted mother and wife and she will be missed by many/family, friends, former students, church acquaintances. My memories of her will always live on and stay close to my heart.
