Anna Marie (DeSantis) Scarson passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Menorah Park.
A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Anna worked for the Syr City School District before opening Scarson’s Deli in Eastwood which she operated for 10 years. She also worked in private home care and volunteered with Adult Day Care program at the Jewish Home
Of CNY.
She was predeceased by her husband Ronald and her 3 sisters, Lucille Arena, Jane Cornell and Helen Kohles. Anna is survived by her daughter Jan(Jeff)Snyder, her sons,
Jon(Kathi),Jeff(Paula), Jay(Craig) Joel(Heather), nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Friends may greet the family from 12-1pm on Tuesday, June 29 at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. There will be a service at the conclusion with burial to follow in Assumption
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
