Thomas E. Sallin, 61, of East Syracuse, died peacefully on Wednesday at Francis House. He was a graduate of St. Matthew’s School and Bishop Grimes. Before that he traveled the country installing fiber optic cable and had worked with his father at the “Family Butcher Shop” in Eastwood. He was a communicant and volunteer at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgeport. He enjoyed his many trips to Saratoga. His quick wit made him a favorite at any gathering. He loved his faith and family. He was pre-deceased by his father Charles.
Tom is survived by his mother Margaret; brothers: Charles, Joseph (Karen), Peter; niece Jenna Sallin; and several cousins including Paul Alexander.
