Philip J. Ostrander, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, aged 76, of Liverpool, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Bishop Rehab in Syracuse.
Philip was a kind and gentle soul, a friend to all, and a brilliant artist, who brought joy to others through his paintings. He was also an expert in dad jokes, a Beatles fan, sci-fi and animal lover, passionate Cuse fan, and avid fisherman. The love Philip gave touched the hearts of everyone around him and will forever be remembered.
Philip is predeceased by his wife Dawne, parents Charles and Mable, brother Charles, and sister Shirley. He is survived by his daughters Rachel and Sarah, son Eric, and grandson Jace.
Private services will be held in Valley Cemetery by Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home.
We can expect more colorful sunrises and sunsets with this new artist in the sky.
