Betty J. Banuski, 94, of Syracuse, died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Loretto. She was a retired Lunch Aide from Huntington School, with the Syracuse Parks and Recreation Department and had formerly worked in several offices in Syracuse. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church and its Senior Group, a member of the DAV Auxiliary and the Arion Stein Club.
She was pre-deceased by her husband John “Jack” Banuski; parents George and Lena E. Ihle Stevens, a son John D. Banuski, and brother George O. Stevens.
She is survived by her son: Gary S. (Louise) Banuski of Syracuse; 2 grandsons,6 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the SPCA.
