Obituary of Jeanne R. MacBride

Jeanne R. (Maslona) MacBride, 90,of East Syracuse, NY, died Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Eastwood High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide at the Syracuse Cerebral Palsy Clinic for 8 years until she became pregnant with her first child. She chose to stay home and raise her two children and take care of her home. Jeanne was a wonderful Mother, wife, daughter and best friend. Her whole life was devoted to those around her and was she was a natural caregiver. Jeanne was preceded in death by husband of 58 years; Robert E MacBride and her parents; Antoinette & John Maslona. She is survived by her two children and their spouses; Lisa MacBride-Matthews(Thomas) and John MacBride(Kristen). She also loved spending time with her four legged grandchildren; Mike, Molly, Bowie, Filmore, Toonces and Edgar. She had numerous nieces & nephews who brought great joy to her life. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 10am in White Chapel Cemetery, Dewitt.
