Marilyn was a member and active attendee at University United Methodist Church on University Ave. She also a member of our Soup and Sermon Group, which meets right after church. Each week, when we would share our activities and concerns from the past week, Marilyn would say," Oh, I don't like to talk in a group." We would coax and cajole her and soon she would talk about her activities.
Marilyn was an "equal opportunity diner." She went to many church suppers all over the community, after looking them up in the newspaper.
Although very private in some ways, Marilyn shared that she had enjoyed travel when she was younger.
She had a interesting life and lived it to the fullest.
We will miss Marilyn very much.

I always enjoyed our conversations during the monthly Senior Fellowship luncheon of St. Stephen congregation members. You will be missed.
