Obituary of June S. Lopez

June “Joan” Spencer Lopez, 83, of Syracuse, died on Sunday, December 15 at Bishop Rehabilitation.  She was born in Brooklyn and moved to Syracuse in 1967.  She worked at several jobs over the years.  In 1972, she became a full time mother and house keeper.   She is a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church.  
She was pre-deceased by her husband Heradio J. Lopez; parents: Joseph and Madeline Beirlein Spencer; a son Robert; 3 sisters: Isabella Sniper, Madeline Rathbun, Rosemarie DeSalvo; and a granddaughter Tiffany Grieger.
She is survived by a daughter: Madeline F. (Gary) Przybylski of Syracuse; 2 sons: John Grieger of Syracuse and James (Cindy) Lopez of Syracuse; brother Charles (Ginny) Brown; sisters-in-law: Juana Plaza, Alba (Jose) Ramirez; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
The Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:15 in St. Vincent dePaul Church.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.  Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson funeral home.  Friends wishing may contribute to St. Vincent dePaul Church.
