John P. Shea, 85, of Syracuse, died on October 15, 2019 at Van Duyn. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the Marines and Army. He retired from Prestolite Co. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, a member of the Pastimes Athletic Club, and the Eastwood American Legion Post 1276. John was pre-deceased by his wife Sylvia and parents John and Margaret Shea.
Survived by a daughter: Catherine Shea of Cleveland, Ohio, 2 grandchildren and his niece Bernadine Large. Private burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
