Obituary of Mario Anthony Bucci

Mario Anthony Bucci, 89, of Eastwood, died on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Francis House after a brief illness.  Mario was a proud US Army veteran, serving during the occupation of Japan and Korea.  He worked for 31 years at New York Telephone Co. and after retirement began M & J Remodeling.  
Mario was a man of many commitments; an avid bowler, a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers Club, 45 year member of the Eastwood Lions Club, National Korean War Veterans Association, and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament.
Mario is survived by his wife of 68 years, Josephine; 3 sons: David (Kathleen), Gary (Teresa), Richard (Michelle); 2 daughters: Maria (Lucky) Nahum, Patricia (Jim) Renehan; 3 brothers: Anthony, Frank, Michael; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; cousins; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held at a later date in Blessed Sacrament Church.
Contributions may be made to the Eastwood Lions Club or Francis House.
