Obituary of Dorothy O. Thompson

Dorothy O. Thompson, 97, of Syracuse, died on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at St. Camillus.  She had retired in 1987 after 34 years with Crouse Hinds Co.  She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church, a member and treasurer of the St. Stephen Seniors, and the Altar Guild.  Dorothy was also a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Women Crafters, Crouse Hinds 25 years club and the Crouse Hinds Retirees.  She was predeceased by her parents Albert & Anna Thompson; sisters and brother: Ella Bertrand, Howard Thompson, Ray Thompson, Mabel Thompson, Emerson Thompson, Munson Thompson, Grant Thompson, Genevieve Jordan, Ruth Gavin, Mildred Faulkner, Phyllis Thompson, Burt Thompson, Marguerite Thompson and Betty Thompson.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 19 at 2pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.  Spring interment will be in the Collamer Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 1-2pm before the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen Lutheran Church or to the Lyncourt Fire Department.
