Linda Faye Menninger, 74, of Kirkville, passed away Tuesday at Crouse Hospital.  She had retired as a nursing assistant from James Square. Linda enjoyed crafting and crocheting.  Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Barnhart; husband Robert and son: William Powers.  Survived by her children: Dawn (Martin) Obey, Thomas Powers and Tammy (Jeffrey) Mitchell; step-children: Tina (David) Bullard,  Debra (Gary) Getman; Kevin (Monica) Menninger; Belinda (Kevin) McKenna; and Benita Menninger; sisters: Virginia, LaVerne, Avon; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.  Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the CNY SPCA.
