Obituary of Helen A. Bardenett

Helen A. Bardenett, 88, of Syracuse, died on Wednesday at St. Camillus surrounded by her family. 
She graduated in 1948 from Most Holy Rosary High School and in1952 she graduated from Lemoyne College.  She had formerly worked for 15 years at M & T Bank and Onondaga Savings Bank.  Helen’s passion in life was being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a deep faith, kind heart and beautiful smile.  She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge with her family and friends.  She married her husband of 56 years, Thomas Bardenett in 1956, and he pre-deceased her in 2012.  She was also pre-deceased by her parents Robert and Katherine Chryst and sisters: Joan Charlson and Carol Wallace.
She is survived by her sons:  Dennis (Terri), Mark (Nora), Tom (Robbie), her daughters: Lynn (Phil) Adams, and Joan (Charlie) Godlewski; a brother Father Robert D. Chryst; a sister Kaye Chryst Barrington; 15 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass  will be held Saturday at 10am in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm in the Church, 3127 James Street.
The Bardenettt family would like to thank the staff at St. Camillus for the care of their mother.
