Rest in peace Dave. You were my friend over 20 years. A Golds Gym buddy and a Yankee and Nascar fellow fan. We attended several events together. I miss you, brother. Steve.

I was so saddened when I found out Dave had passed away. I am so glad I had the opportunity to talk to him at my Dad's calling hours/funeral in January of this year. I got to know Dave through Eastwood Baptist Church. We had a softball team and Dave was our catcher. He was an avid Yankee fan and we called him "Thurm" for Thurman Munson who was a famous Yankee catcher. On occasion Dave & I would be Sunday ushers for church. I would also see him when my dad & I had season tickets to the Syracuse Men's Basketball Team. We would chat during the half-time festivities. Dave & I exchanged Christmas cards every year. Dave will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the remaining members of the Ridge family, especially Janet.

My Deepest Condolences to David's Family.
Although I haven't seen David in many years..we did keep in contact.
In the late 80's/90's Dave spent a lot of time with my ex and I..
I made Sunday dinners while watching Nascar (#43 car forever his favorite) and we even went to Pocono to see the Races.
There were other events we all did together watched SU, his NY Yankees, State Fair etc.
David was a Wonderful Person and Great Friend..
Rest in Peace David Ridge..

Dave was a true, life-long friend and my wonderful memories of him go back to the start of second grade in 1966. Dave loved to laugh and have fun and was a common thread in so many comical misadventures throughout our time together at Nichols, Eastwood, and Henninger. We never lost touch and his notes and emails always brought a smile. I will terribly miss our twice-monthly Sunday evening phone marathons where no topic was too silly to be off-limits.

Sending our deepest condolences on the passing of David. I worked with Dave at Roth Bros. Smelting for many years and he and I were very good friends. We travelled together down New York City to see the Yankees a few different times. And down to Cooperstown to the Baseball Hall of Fame. After Roth closed, Dave and I stayed friends. He will be sorely missed. But now he is free from pain, and that is a blessing. RIP Dave

My thoughts and prayers for your family. Davey and I worked together at PACE CNY for a little over 10 years. We used to talk about many different things, from sports to everyday life in general. Davey was a good man who would give you the shirt off of his back. I fondly remember having coffee and reading the newspaper with him just about every morning before it was time to punch in. We had quite a few laughs together and he was one of the people who I missed the most when I left PACE. I wish I could be there for the service, but as I can't drive anymore I don't think I will be able to. May God bless and keep you in your time of sorrow.
