Anne Elsie “Nancy” Hoffman, of Syracuse, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. Camillus. She was a Registered Nurse and had worked for several doctors’ offices.  Mrs. Hoffman was a graduate of Central High School and received her RN degree from Syracuse General Hospital School of Nursing in 1950.  She has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Onondaga County Department of Health Blood Pressure and Flu Clinics.  She was a member, former deacon and Sunday School teacher at St. Stephen Lutheran Church.  She was also a past-president and council member of the L.C.W.
Nancy was predeceased by her husband Edward in 2016 and her parents Henry and Anna Thomasmeyer.
Survived by her son Rev. Dr. Daniel (Debra) of Williamsville, NY; daughter Martha Hoffman Schachter of Foxboro, MA; 5 granddaughters: Leah (David) Hoffman Murray, Hannah (J.J.) Nicholson, Beth (Russell) Martin, Sarah, Laura Schachter; and  great grandchildren: Hadley & Callie Murray and Jonah Nicholson.
Friends may call at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina St. on Sunday from 4 to 7:00pm.  Funeral Services will be held Monday at ST. Stephen’s Lutheran Church at 10:00am. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
