Edmund F. Wall, 84 of Syracuse formerly of Albany and Phoenix, AZ
passed away Friday after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. He
was born in Troy, NY the son of the late Michael and Anna Keegan Wall.
Ed served his country as a Sargent in the US Air Force. He was a 1946
graduate of LaSalle Institute in Troy, NY and RCA Institutes in 1954.
Ed was a longtime board member of the Capital Communications FCU and
retired from AT&T after a long career. He was predeceased by his
siblings: Thomas, Capt. Howard, Donald, Richard, Marjorie Nuttall &
Anne Barry. Survived by his wife of 56 years Elizabeth "Betty"
Halloran Wall; children: Elizabeth A. (Steven) Sloane of Syracuse,
Howard J. Wall of Ballwin, MO, Diane M .Wall of St. Louis, MO, Kenneth
M. Wall of NY, NY; grandchildren Mika and Kyoko Wall of Ballwin, MO;
brother in law Rev. Joseph L. Halloran of Albany, NY; several nieces
and nephews. Services will be Private. Ed's family would like to
thank the staff of Loretto's The Heritage especially Susan Green and
the 3rd floor Cunningham for their exceptional care and thoughtfulness.
