Obituary of Cecilia Z. Huninik

Cecilia Z. Huninik February 7, 2017 Cecilia Z. Huninik, 93, of Syracuse, died on Tuesday at Francis House. Cecilia was a former member of the Eastwood American Legion Post. She was a devoted mother and thoroughly enjoyed being a homemaker. She was always generous with her time and resources helping others. Her strong faith was her guide for her entire life. She was predeceased by her husband Walter. She is survived by her daughters Terri Hobson and Cathy (Jim) Fleming both of Syracuse; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may greet the family from 9:30-10:30am before the mass in the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Francis House, 108 Michaels Avenue, Syracuse 13208.
