Linda D. Delaney, 58, of Minoa, died on Wednesday at her home after an 8 year battle with cancer. She had formerly worked at Upstate Hospital and enjoyed gardening and vacationing at Cape Cod. She was a good mother and a beloved wife who enjoyed her friends and her constant companion, her dog Barkley. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James; her daughters: Kathryn (Timothy) Williams of Syracuse, Jennifer Delaney of Minoa; her mother Chris Hart of Canastota; her brothers: Theodore Hart of Canastota, Robert (Jean) Hart; her sisters: Elsa (David) Flesher and Lisa (Mark) Niles; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 11am in Most Holy Rosary Church. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-6pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James St. Memorial contributions may be made to the Regional Oncology Center at Upstate.
