Deborah Stark, 61, of East Syracuse, died on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Crouse Hospital. She was born on July 26, 1950 in Ogdensburg, NY. She had worked for 27 years for Penn Traffic and had formerly worked for Acme Markets. She was an avid BINGO player, enjoyed reading, crafts, crocheting and going to the casinos. She was pre-deceased by her father Almon Swain and niece Alicia Brewer.
She is survived by her husband James F. Stark; her daughter: Michelle Stark; her sons: James S. (Maria), Michael (Nicole); her mother: Joan Swain of Hannibal, NY; brother: Almon (Judy) Swain of Virginia; sister: Joan Brewer of Camillus; 2 nephews: Chaz and Cory Brewer; and a grandson Dylan.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Crouse Hospital Stroke Care Center.
