Helen L. O’Brien, 88, of Liverpool, died on Wednesday, April 12, 2016 at the Syracuse Home. She was born in Massena, NY, the daughter of the late Fred and Nellie LaFortune. Helen was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and retired from ALCOA after 30 years and was a member of the 25-year club at ALCOA, and a member of the Green Point Chorus. She was pre-deceased by her son James O’Brien.
Survived by and 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church with burial to follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Clay. There are no calling hours. Contributions may be made to Rescue Mission.
