Ronald “Ricky” E. Landry III, 35, of Chittenango, died on Saturday in Syracuse. He had studied at the Northwest Railroad Institute in Washington State and was about to start a new job with Southwest Railroad in New Mexico. Ron was a fitness enthusiast, health nut and avid runner. He was an a fan of SU Basketball and the Miami Dolphins. He had a great smile, enjoyed his friends and was a wonderful uncle.
He is survived by his mother: Jill Powers; father: Ronald Landry Jr.; sisters: Melissa (Adam) Sherwood, Brook (Kenny Reeves) Landry; brother Dakota Landry; niece Emma Sherwood; nephews: Cy Sherwood, Kobe & Carter Reeves; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, with a service at the conclusion.
