Helen E. Smith 88 passed away Tuesday at Highland House. She was born on August 26, 1923 the daughter of the late Howard Schmid and Gladys Marie Smith. Helen retired in 1974 after more than 30 years with Syracuse China. She was a member og the Local 381 International Brotherhood of Pottery Workers. Survived by several (step) grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, & several cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 16 at Noon at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina Street. Calling hours will from 11am - Noon before the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to N.A.V.A.C.
