Jean Purcell, 87, of Syracuse, die don Saturday at James Square. She had enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her family. Her son Bruce Doherty died in 1989.
Mrs. Purcell is survived by her husband Joseph Michael Purcell; a daughter Brenda Dougall of Syracuse; a sister Helene Martens of Marietta; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 11:30AM in Woodlawn Cemetery.
