Obituary of Sarah E. Moss

Sarah E. (Betty) Moss passed away at her home on Thursday, July 28, two days before her 91st birthday. She was predeceased by her husband John Moss Sr. and an infant son, Paul Michael. She is survived by a son, John (Cheryl Hammond) Moss; daughters: Linda (Nicholas) Albicelli, Bette Jane (Ron Morgan) Moss, Rosemary (Gregory) Czerniak, Ellen (Gary Brown) Elderbroom; daughter in law Carol Moss; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters: Norma Thater and Jeanne Sweeting and several nieces and nephews. She was recently recognized as a 50 year member of the Syracuse Turners Women's Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Marcellus Fire Department Auxiliary. Betty loved being with her family and friends at holiday times. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They called her Gram and GG. She was a giving person and her last gift was donating her body to science. A celebration of her life will be at a memorial mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Liverpool on Monday, August 8th at 11am. Friends and family may call at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina Street on Sunday August 7 from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
