Lawrence (Larry) Farrell, 76, of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday, April 11. Larry was born in Oswego, son of the late Austin and Helen Cloonan Farrell. He was also predeceased by his brother, Donald, in 1985. Larry graduated from Oswego Catholic High School. He retired from Upstate Hospital's Accounting Department. Larry's Catholic Faith was a very important part of his life and his love of the city of Oswego. He attended Blessed Sacrament Church in Syracuse.
He is survived by his twin brother, Lou Farrell of Syracuse; sister Eileen Kuno of Madison, WI; sister-in-law Mary Ellen Pasternak; nephew Eric Farrell of Pennsylvania; nieces: Kathy Kuno, Laurie Derus, Tracy Ihm, Erin Lacey all of Wisconsin, and Julie Farrell of Delaware; and several great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:30AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery in Oswego. Friends may greet the family from 10-10:30 before the mass in Blessed Sacrament Church.
