Obituary of Charlotte F. Robinson

Charlotte (Puffett) Robinson, 95, passed away at James Square Nursing Home on February 7th, 2015. She was born and raised in Marcellus and graduated from Marcellus High School where she enjoyed cheerleading and many school activities. After graduation, Charlotte moved to the city and worked in the office of The Lamson Company. In 1946, Charlotte married Bruce Robinson (who passed away in 2004). They settled in the Eastwood area where Charlotte was a loving wife and mother to her family. Charlotte and her husband spent their winters in Hobe Sound, Florida, for many years, where they enjoyed family and friends. The family of Charlotte Robinson would like to thank the staff on the 2nd floor of James Square Nursing Home for the loving care given to our mother. She is survived by her daughter Janet Brzostek of Eastwood; 3 sons: Bruce Robinson (Joanne) of Cleveland, NY, Edward Robinson (Kelli) of Clermont, FL and Larry Robinson (Terri) of Minoa, NY. Also surviving is a sister Reba Tanner and a brother James Puffett. Charlotte had 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 8:30am at the Welter-Price Funeral Home and at 9am in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Charlotte's name to the Diabetes Association of Central New York or the National Kidney Foundation in Syracuse.
