Gladys G. Quinn, 103, of Mechanicville passed away in Syracuse where she was residing, on Monday, January 12. She retired from New York Telephone after many years of faithful service. She was a Telephone operator in Oakland, CA during WW II and was an active member of the Telephone Pioneers. She was beloved for her exquisite taste and sweet soul. Gladys is predeceased by her husband Joseph Quinn and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her nieces and nephews; Craig and Mary Ann Byam, Tonya Roberts, Douglas Simmons, Donna Boyd, Mark Goble, Diane Langford, Linda Zeitz and several great nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at the Oneonta Plains Cemetery in Oneonta, NY in the Spring.
