Obituary of France (Druciak) Stark

Frances Druciak Stark December 31, 2014 Frances Druciak Stark, 90, of East Syracuse, passed away on December 31st. Frances was the daughter of John and Mary Druciak. She graduated from Vocational High School, where she met her future husband, the late Stylo Stark, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage. Frances retired after 30 years as a telephone tester at Western Electric and remained close with her friends at work. A communicant of St. Matthew's Church, she was a woman of strong faith who was devoted to the Church and her family. Sunday dinner at Grandma Stark's was a treasured tradition for decades. Frances had a real talent for crocheting and knitting, and enjoyed teaching others her craft. A passionate SU Basketball fan, she followed the team closely. Frances is survived by her son James and his wife Melinda of East Syracuse; her daughter Sharon and her husband William Jesson of Winchester, MA; grandchildren Michelle, James and his wife Maria, Michael and his wife Nicole; great-grandchildren Dylan, Lincoln, and Tiffany. She is also survived by her loving sister Elizabeth and her husband Frank Ciciriello; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the compassionate caregivers who assisted Frances in the last years of her life. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:30AM at the Welter-Price Funeral Home and at 9AM in St. Matthew's Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7PM at the funeral home, 3111 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13206. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Matthew's Church, 229 West Yates Street, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
