Mary "Bette" Hughes Killecut, 94, of Syracuse died Wednesday at James Square. She did volunteer work for the City School District and the Eastwood Teen Center. She is a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a former member of the Associated Artists. She was Woman of the Year for the Y.M.C.A. in 1977. She is predeceased by her husband Lester Stephen Killecut. She is survived by; 3 daughters: Patricia Conway of Dublin, Ohio, Linda Leo of Syracuse, Marianne E. Mazzoli of Williamson, NY; 2 sons: Daniel Killecut of Hannible, NY, Mark Killecut of Syracuse; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Private family services will be held in the Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in the ST. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central New York Food Bank.
