Obituary of Howard G. Harrison

Howard G. Harrison, 82, of Syracuse, died on Monday at ST. Joseph's Hospital. He was a native of Belle Vernon, PA and was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Harrison retired after 30 years with General Electric. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church and the Eastwood Post of the American Legion. He enjoyed reading, being outdoors, riding his scooter around the neighborhood, and walking his dog, Jake. He was very skilled in repairing things. His parents, Howard and Viola Harrison had pre-deceased him. Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara; his sons: Howard P. and Mark; grandchildren: Jessica, Mark, and Sharon Harrison; and great-grandson RJ. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 10am-12 noon at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home with a funeral service at noon. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First English Lutheran Food Pantry.
