Obituary of Frank M. Mandara

Frank M. Mandara, 82, of Syracuse, died on Tuesday at Van Duyn. He was a graduate of North High School and a veteran of the Army during the Korean War. Mr. Mandara retired after 30 years from Western Electric. He was a member of the VFW and enjoyed hunting and golfing. He was pre-deceased by his wife Eleanor, his parents Frank & Theresa, and brother John. He is survived by his son Michael J. of Syracuse; daughter Elaine (Mike) Fink of Lyncourt; sister Diane McCann of Baldwinsville; 3 grandsons; Mark, Matthew, Michael Mandara and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street. Graveside burial services will be Tuesday at 11am in the chapel at the Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery.
