My condolences to Nancy.
I hadn't seen Bonnie in years and had the opportunity to visit with her last fall on one of my trips home from South Carolina. It was nice to revisit memories of our growing up in Eastwood.
Rest in Peace Bonnie.

I met Bonnie when she became a tutor at Time to Climb. She really loved this program that her friend, Marilyn started. I was a 3rd grade teacher at Huntington. We often talked at length about the different students she worked with each year. She always wanted to know what made them tick and how she could best help them. I admired that. I loved her sense of humor and the stories we shared about our cats. I will miss her very much.

Bonnie and I knew each other best from our youthful years, 2nd grade and beyond: James Street Methodist Church youth groups and service projects, and later at Eastwood High. We have stayed in touch and even shared lunch together at her home last month when I visited in Syracuse. We marveled at how we found so much to talk about when we were young, standing on a neighborhood corner for hours after school before we went our separate ways. She was funny, determined, hard working, caring and a true friend. She enjoyed the best of life....her family, friends, meaningful work and community service. I will miss her.

I will always remember our days as classmates at Eastwood High. It was wonderful to see Bonnie at our reunions. Never forgotten!

There are many things I could say to you all but the most important is that you (her family) were most important in her life. She shared lovingly the milestones of each and every event in your lives...that is what made this wonderfully dedicated successful business woman so easy to care for. Bonnie hired me for my 1st job that lasted 33 great years, I will never forget that. She believed in me and I never wanted to let her down. I saw her last in November at the Steak and Sundae and she looked great-I am so thankful for that.
My Sincerest Sympathies,
Mary Ann Leogue Wickwire
