Obituary of Dorothy S. Leamy

Dorothy S. Leamy, 99, of Syracuse, died at her home on Monday. Mrs. Leamy was a graduate of Vocational High School and a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. She had retired from the accounting department at Agway and was the former office manager at Heatalator. She was the former grand president of the Beta Chi Sorority, served on the auxiliary of the Chadwick Residence, volunteered at Community General Hospital, and served on the Onondaga Guild at Van Duyn where she worked in the gift shop. She enjoyed horse back riding and playing Bridge. She was pre-deceased by her husband Jeremiah J. Leamy. Mrs. Leamy is survived by her son Jeremiah T. Leamy; sisters: Virginia Poole, Ann (Phil) Kelley all of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass was held on Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with burial in St. Agnes Cemetery.
