Fannie Spina, 94, of Syracuse, died on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She had retired from the Syracuse City School District and had volunteered at PEACE, Inc.
She is survived by her daughters: Dolores (Jerome) Burns, and her beloved care giver Andrea Lynch; 3 sons: James (Alba), Frank (Vera), Jack (Iris); her sister: Rose Fiala; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Friday at 10am at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in the Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
