Obituary of William Thomas Sherrow

William Thomas Sherrow passed away on March 31, 2014 in Ft, Myers, Florida. He was born in St. Regis, Quebec and his parents were Peter and Agnes Mitchell Sherrow. Mr. Sherrow served in World War Two and worked at General Motors in Syracuse. He was very active in the Lions Club, Ski for Light, Blind Bowlers of CNY, a CB club, and went to the YMCA three times a week. He was the past-president of the Syracuse Lions Club. He also enjoyed cross country skiing, bowling, going white water rafting, and riding his tandem bike. Mr. Sherrow was pre-deceased by his wife Mary Buccina, son William P. Sherrow and grandson Nick Silvaggio. He is survived by his longtime companion Liv Colberg; 3 daughters: Barbara, Debby, Camille all of Syracuse; a brother Don (Marilyn) Sherrow; 3 grandchildren: Michelle (Stewart) Coleman of Cicero, Thomas Duncan of Syracuse, Jessie Greaney of Fulton; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7pm at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home, 121 N. Salina Street. Memorial contributions may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598.
