Mildred F. Tedd, 97 passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2014. She was born November 6, 1916 in Binghamton, the daughter of Frank D. Lewis and Madge (Cosgrove) Lewis. She graduated from Eastwood High School in 1935. Mildred worked for American Mutual Ins. Co. for 28 years.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Clifford in 1987 and daughter, Brenda Jasman in 2006.
She is survived by her special niece, Joanne (Jerry) Gavenda of East Syracuse; three grandchildren from California, Robert (Mary), Andrew and Teri Jasman and their father, Robert; two great-granddaughters, Ramona Jasman Rios and Maya Jasman; a nephew, Robert (Diane) Tedd of Bridgeport; sisters-in-law, Agnes Tedd of Bridgeport, Vivian Ritter of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1 p.m. at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 6136 South Salina St., Nedrow, NY 13120.
Contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Church.
