Joseph Metallo Jr. February 7, 2014 Joseph Metallo Jr., 57, of Cicero, died on Friday at Crouse Hospital. Joe had attended McCarthy School and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. He had formerly worked at Niagara Mohawk and Monarch Industries. He enjoyed bowling and attending dances held at OCC. He was pre-deceased by his mother: Florence McLeod Metallo. He is survived by his dad Joseph (Betty); and his siblings: Patricia (Tom) Brody of Syracuse, Paula (Sandro) Montanari of Italy, Teresa (Tom) Long of Fayetteville, Mark (Debbie) of Liverpool, Joanne (Mike) Cavallo of Mattydale, Christopher of Liverpool, Tom (Laura) of Connecticut, Tim (Marianne) of California, Elizabeth (Don) McDade of Texas, Kathleen (Dr. Dave) Mason of Manilus; step brothers and sisters: Thomas (Nancy) Rougeau, Gary (Lillian) Rougeau, Sandra (Thomas) Kane, John(Joyce) Rougeau, Mary Rougeau, Patricia (Roger) Auger, Lawrence Rougeau; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm in Blessed Sacrament Church. Contributions may be made to ARC of Onondaga County, 600 S. Wilbur Ave, Syracuse 13204 or to the Blessed Sacrament Church Outreach Program, 3127 James Street, Syracuse 13206.
