Obituary of Robert T. Knaul

Robert T. "Bob" Knaul, 72, of Lyncourt, passed away on Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He had retired after 30 plus years with Lockheed Martin and formerly worked at the Cobblestone Hotel in Liverpool. Mr. Knaul had recently been employed by St. Margaret's Church. He had served in the Army Reserves, was a member of the American Legion Post 1276, and was a volunteer with the Lyncourt Fire Department. He was pre-deceased by his wife Amy who died in 2008. He is survived by his children: Mark (Michele) Knaul of Apalachin, NY, Kurt Knaul of Charlotte, NC and Missy (Pete) Pontius of Syracuse; 3 brothers: Clifford Jr. of Pennsylvania, Fred of Lyncourt, William of Eastwood; and grandchildren: Erin Knaul, Lindsay Knaul, Patrick Knaul, Eric Pontius, Justin Pontius, Alyssa Pontius. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10am at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. Calling Hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
