Ralph Vincent Chester Jr., 55, of Camillus, passed away Sunday at Dorothy House surrounded by love and compassion. Born on June 27, 1958 to Dr. Ralph and Mary A. (Blaskiewicz) Chester, he was a graduate of Westhill HS and CCBI. Ralph retired in 2011 from Verizon, after 30 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his sisters at Gilley Lake and summer vacations with friends in Provincetown.
He was predeceased by his parents, a sister Marianne Chester and his beloved aunt, Jane Stack.
Ralph is survived by his "bestest" friend Susie Dempster; his sisters: Nancy (Mark) Hard, Julia, Dianne, Susie Chester of Camillus; his brothers: Robert (Lucille) Chester of Clifton, NJ, Ronald (Carol) Chester of Syracuse; a niece, several nephews and many close friends.
Calling hours are Thursday from 4-6pm with a mass at 6pm in St. Vincent dePaul Church. Burial will be private.
