Ruth L. Burgmeier, 87, formerly of East Syracuse, died on Thursday at Sunnyside Nursing Home. Her parents were J.C. Leiber and Edna Streeter. She was pre-deceased by her husband Raymond (2005), sons Stephen (1973) and Raymond "Buzz" (1993), and Miss Kitty.
She is survived by her daughters: Linda (Don) Bush of Apalachin, NY, Debra (Peter) Costa of Marcellus, Joanne M. (Charles) Harding of Liverpool; a daughter-in-law Carol (Burgmeier) Mahan of Kirkville; grandchildren: Philip and Andrea Burgmeier, Erica Fleming, Michael and Lori Costa, Patrick and Ryan Harding; and several great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are Monday from 11:30-1:30PM with a service at the conclusion at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the SPCA of CNY.
